First order of business is identification. Know your target! This one is a no-"brainer".

Somehow, "clueless" just doesn't adequately describe people who seem not to notice the zombies around them.

OK, quiz time. Could you pop a zombie that was breaking down your door? What if your neighbors were zombies, as in they wanted to "redistribute" your brains to the less-fortunate? Could you pop your neighbors? Me neither. That's why I'm leaning toward a "Galt's Gulch" solution. Discuss.

  1. There is no real Gulch to be found today, but one can find some pretty remote spots. Defence will still be an issue. Even if you put to sea, you will inevitable run in to some nasty critters who would benefit from a few new orifices in various parts of their bodies. Well you would benefit by your continued survival anyways... The zombies are real. Some wear suits, or black uniforms. The rest, well they're more partial to TV and cheetos than brains...

  2. Hi Mayberry,

Galt's Gulch is more likely to become reality in the ocean or space. I've given up on a land-based escape from the gulag-of-the-free. Imagine a limitless frontier.

The zombie is the perfect metaphor for America. We're all dead, but we just keep moving.
