I loved rock shops when I was little! I even had a little rock polisher at home. I also loved smashing rocks, not ala Bam Bam but to see what was inside. It seems I've always had a thing for cracking the tough nuts, and excavating interiors :)When we moved to FLA, the limestone and softer rocks would yield wonderful traces of former lives.
Hi Lisa,I always wanted a rock polisher, but never got around to getting one. I'm alway finding really cool quartz rocks in my yard. When I was a boy in Henderson, Nevada, all the neightborhood kids hung out with a old, retired mining engineer. Mr. Terrell's house looked like the Rainbow Rock Shop. Dave
